The Highlander Sport adds a slightly firmer suspension and extra hardware, while the Limited model offers all the luxury Toyota is capable of, including leather seats, wood trim on the dashboard and an optional navigation system. These two models are equipped with standard 19-inch aluminum wheels.
As for the new Highlander Hybrid, it will hit the market this fall.
In short, the all-new 2008 model does not revolutionize the Highlander, but it's still a major evolution from the old generation. Be careful, though: despite its sport utility aspirations, this crossover is still not suited to serious adventurers.
