Spacious tranquility
Toyota chose to give its Highlander Hybrid Limited a high level of comfort and soundproofing to ensure a ride that is as smooth as possible.

The Highlander Hybrid Limited has everything to please well-to-do buyers ($54,220) who are seeking an environmentally friendly vehicle. Nevertheless, more affordable versions are available: The base version costs $41,075 and the Comfort version goes for $46,030, with the difference between the two lying in the numerous electrical accessory packages offered and the interior's level of luxury.

Toyota chose to give its Highlander Hybrid Limited a high level of comfort and soundproofing.

Let's give credit where credit is due: Toyota makes an effort and is willing to manufacture a series of popular models (compact, mid-size and SUV) that produce fewer carbon dioxide emissions, not to mention that its vehicles are well suited to our roads year-round.

Luxurious
The Limited label has always been a synonym for refined luxury in North America. Toyota knows and understands this, which is why the Highlander Hybrid Limited features a quality finish with leather seats, wood trim and all of the conveniences you'd expect, including an electrical hatch, back-up camera and navigation system. The Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited will satisfy environmentally minded yuppies and retirees. We loved the premium JBL audio system, touch screen and dual-zone control air conditioning system. We tested our vehicle in different weather conditions, so we were able to evaluate the system's effectiveness in rain, cold, heat and sun.

Cargo room, and then some
We wanted a spacious vehicle that would accommodate our video and camera equipment for our drive from Laval, Quebec, to the Calabogie Motorsports Park west of Ottawa. The Highlander served us well in this respect. The versatility of the trunk space and the ease with which the seats can be folded down make it possible to tailor cargo capacity and cargo room to meet immediate needs (2.66 m3). However, use of the third bench reduces the space considerably (0.29 m3) and is pretty much limited to occasional use for young children.

The Highlander Hybrid Limited features a quality finish and all of the conveniences you'd expect.
