Engineers also developed a new feature called Audi Drive Select, which electronically alters characteristic responses for the engine, transmission, steering and suspension damping, depending on road conditions and the selected mode -- Comfort (for highways and damaged roads), Auto (for balanced ride and handling) or Dynamic (for spirited driving). The driver can even customize the vehicle parameters with his own personal settings. Audi Drive Select is controlled via a special knob on the console.
A host of other technological advancements -- it would take forever to list them all, let alone to describe them -- make the new 2009 Audi A4 a true premium midsize sedan with the qualities of a full-size car.
