Of course, the TTS, SLK and Boxster don’t have back seats, but are more entertaining to drive and come from more prestigious brands. The TTS, S5 and Boxster have cloth tops. And if you don’t need as much power, the BMW 328i, the Audi A5 and TT as well as the Volvo C70 all cost less than the Infiniti.

The G37 Convertible is a well-crafted, high-performance machine that looks absolutely gorgeous. Its power-folding hard top allows us to enjoy it year-round, which is great considering that in Canada, summer is never long enough.
There are a few sacrifices, though. Trunk space will be insufficient for some, and the car’s price puts it within only a few grand from a Porsche and a Mercedes-Benz. Personally, I’d enjoy the G37 more as a coupe than a convertible and save ten grand.
