As all the spies were scrambling to get the photos of the masked coupe, we hope we were able to get the best look yet of the 2009 Scirocco.
Sadly, even though we shot this here in the North America, it doesn't appear as if Volkswagen's new rocket will be sold here.
Based on the 2006 Iroc Concept, this 4-passenger coupe will likely be powered by the Golf/Rabbit engine lineup, with an optional 200-horsepower 2.0-liter FSI turbocharged I4.
The Scirocco is expected to reach the European market for the 2009 model year.
