X6 M wrap-up
BMW refers to their oddly shaped X6 as a Sports Activity Coupe. To me, it’s a fastback version of the X5, which in my mind is an SUV, so go figure. What I can state with certainty however is that the ‘M’ version of the X6 is wickedly fast and tremendously agile.
BMW assigns a 0-100km/h time of just 4.7 seconds to this Bavarian barbarian.
The X6 M is a true BMW in that it’s solidly built and full of luxury, safety and occupant protection. It’s also expensive. The base X6 M MSRP is $99,900. My fully appointed tester rang in an eye-popping $111,850.
But that money will net its owner both horsepower superiority and performance dominance in its category, which is really a blur of categories. Pick one – the X6 M is sure to prevail.
