And here we have the smartest product unveiling of the show. The GLA-Class will shake the very foundations of Merc dealers across the world as buyers run in to pick one up. The only issue I can find is that it may hurt C-Class take rates.
Why, you ask? As I’ve pointed out with the Q30, the GLA can do almost anything thanks to its inner and outer dimensions. The 208-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder will provide all the desired power and fuel efficiency and, likely, the drive will be good. The GLA-Class should arrive in showrooms in a little over a year from now.
