Summary
The M35 hybrid certainly is very frugal for such a large luxury sport sedan. Proven reliability and affordable prices have helped the Japanese automaker gain a strong foothold in the 2012 'green' vehicle market. The hybrid system certainly reduces the pain at the pump, but it has a significant impact on the starting price.

Pros
Exceptional interior fit and finish

Cons
The battery chews up a large chunk of the available trunk space, hybrid option is quite expensive.

Exterior Styling
The M35 has a very curvaceous, fluid, discreet design. The headlights are virtually integrated into the bulbous, bulging front fenders. The sharp roofline and awkward rear-window angle seem to block-off a fair chunk of rear visibility. The 18-inch alloy wheels add a nice finishing touch.

The trunk offers 320 litres of volume, which is 102 less than the M37, thanks to the battery which severely limits the available space.

302 hp 3.5 litre V6 and electric motor combine to produce 360 hp.
Torque: 258 lb-ft
Hybrid system: Tandem
7-speed automatic transmission
