Porsche will host the world premiere of two extreme sports cars at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show next week. One of them is the Cayman GT4, while the other remains unspecified, although the company talks about “another exceptional Porsche that sets new standards on the racetrack.” Could it be the new 911 GT3 RS, spotted at the Nürburgring and seen on pictures across the web for the past few months? It's possible, even likely.

Porsche Cayman GT4
The new Cayman GT4 is the first high-performance sports car belonging to the GT family that is based on the mid-engine coupes. Its 3.8L flat-6 engine, which is derived from the 911 Carrera S, produces 385 horsepower through a 6-speed transmission, allowing 0-100km/h acceleration in 4.4 seconds. The Cayman GT4 clocked a lap time of 7:40 minutes on the North Loop of the Nürburgring.

What about the Porsche 911 GT3 RS?
According to Axis of Oversteer, this new Porsche will house a 4.0L flat-6 engine producing in excess of 500 horsepower with the help of the 7-speed PDK. The hood and fenders will be made of carbon fibre reinforced plastic, while the roof will use magnesium alloy -- all in the name of weight reduction.

Patience, folks: The 2015 Geneva Motor Show is just a few days away!
