After the 2014-2016 Mazda CX-5, it’s now the new 2016 Honda Civic’s turn to be put on a sales interruption — more specifically models equipped with the 2.0L engine.
It seems there is a problem with the piston pin snap rings, though no official details have been released by Honda yet. The NHTSA has been informed, and a recall should follow shortly.
Sales of 2016 Honda Civic models equipped with the 1.5L turbo engine are not affected.
