As there are different transmissions, fuel economy numbers range from 7.1L/100km to 9.8L/100km. 

Powertrain: There is only one engine available and it’s a 2.0L GDI in-line 4-cylinder mill that produces 173 horsepower and 154 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels only, and there are two transmission choices: a 6-speed manual transmission or an automatic with the same number of gears. 

Changes and Improvements: No major changes were made to the Hyundai Elantra GT for 2016. 

Cargo Capacity: The 2016 Hyunda Elantra GT offers up seating for five, and 651 litres of cargo space in the trunk.
