We now know a bit more about the new 2016 Infiniti Q50 that will debut at the 2016 North American International Auto Show In Detroit next month and will go on sale later in the year.

The model will receive three new engines including a 400-horsepower 3.0L twin-turbo V6, a 300-horsepower V6, and a 208-horsepower 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder. Look for a 360-horsepower hybrid power unit, as well. All 2016 Q50 sedans — either with rear-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive — will feature a 7-speed automatic transmission with manual mode.

The Q50 Red Sport 400 will include an all-new Dynamic Digital Suspension, plus a new, rack-mounted electronic power steering or an updated version of Infiniti's Direct Adaptive Steering.

In related news, the 2016 Infiniti QX60 crossover will add to its already strong suite of advanced safety technology with Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) with pedestrian detection – a first for Infiniti and the brand's exclusive Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW) system.
