The anticipated new 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio made its North American debut today at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This Italian sports car will go on sale next spring to the delight of performance enthusiasts all across the continent.

Using a Ferrari-sourced 2.9L twin-turbo V6 engine, the Giulia Quadrifoglio produces 505 horsepower, making it the most powerful road car in Alfa Romeo history. Acceleration from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) takes a mere 3.8 seconds, and top speed is rated at 191 mph (307 km/h). Not bad for a midsize sedan, eh?

The hood, roof, rear spoiler, and drive shaft are all made of carbon fibre contributing to a substantial weight reduction. Aluminum also plays a big role, more specifically in the front and rear sub-frames, doors, and fenders. The sleek 19” wheels partially hide standard Brembo brakes. Other safety features include lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and more.

Seven body colours are available, while the interior of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio offers five different leather and Alcantara combinations.
In the U.S., this model will join the 4C Coupe and 4C Spider and start at around $70,000. Stay tuned for more details.
