GMC has announced two new Graphite Edition variants of its 2019 Yukon; the two versions will benefit from esthetic tweaks as well as adjustments to upgrade their performance capabilities.
Consumers will be able to add the Graphite Edition package to either the Yukon or Yukon XL trims, and choose as well between rear-wheel and all-wheel drive powertrains.
Style changes
Derived from the SLT variant of the model, the 2019 GMC Yukon Grpahite Edition will be spruced up by a number of style elements, such as black roof rails, black fog lamp surrounds black chrome grille mesh insert, gloss black beltline moldings, 22-inch wheels with Carbon Flash Metallic pockets, gloss black-accented assist steps and a body-color grille surround.
The two Graphite Edition models will be available in three different exterior colours: Onyx Black, White Frost Tricoat and Dark Sky Metallic.
Performance
Buyers of the Yukon Graphite Performance Edition, also derived from the SLT, will benefit from a 10-speed automatic transmission. This edition also gets the 22-inch wheels, this time in glossy black, the Magnetic Ride Control and Bose Active Noise Cancellation systems, the head up display, a trailer brake control system and an active two-speed transfer case (on the four-wheel drive models).
GMC Canada plans to deliver the special editions of the 2019 Yukon to dealerships this summer. We will have more details regarding pricing in the days leading up to launch.
