The Outlander PHEV ($43,798) is designed by Mitsubishi to seduce smallish families that want to wean themselves off of visits to the pump, and it’s been remarkably successful in its seduction of Canadian consumers notably. The all-electric range of just 35 k is nothing to write home about, but for short home-work commutes, the SUV is a good, versatile solution.
