Since the future is all-electric, Kia seems hesitant to continue marketing hybrids or plug-in hybrids. But then again, the 2020 model year is the year of the NIRO PHEV and the Optima PHEV sedan, two models that contribute to lower average fuel consumption.
At the time of writing, Kia hadn't yet confirmed the arrival of the new Sorento Hybrid or plug-in hybrid version, but the relative popularity of this type of electrified SUV could force the hand of the brand's executives.
