The Ferrari F430 driven by Bruni-Longin-Van de Poele-Vilander set the best time during the qualifying session for the 24 Hours of Spa.
Gianmaria Bruni set the pole position in the second qualifying session on Thursday with a lap of 2’22’’403.
The Italian driver was 146 thousands of a second quicker than works BMW of Dick Werner and the Phoenix Racing Audi R8 of Marcel Fassler. Both cars ran in GT3 category, but are looking for an overall win on Sunday.
The GT1 cars are not allowed for the Spa 24 Hours. GT2, GT3, GT4 and even GT open category (where we find a Ford Mustang or a Mosler MT900) are allowed to run in this event.
