Aston Martin and BMW Designer Henrik Fisker Starts New Boutique Car Company
While Mitsubishi may have only recently come to Canada and Kia, some years prior, entered the North American market, it's a rare occasion than an entirely new automaker opens for business, and even rarer when headed by one of the world's most respected designers. The Southern California premium carmaker will take Henrik Fisker's name too, dubbed Fisker Coachbuild, despite being co-owned by one Bernhard Koehler, made the Director of Business and Operations within Ford's Global Advanced Design Studio (CAPC) in Irvine, California in January of 2004.
