Whiskey bottles, coffee machine and an xBox console all come standard

Go to a Canadian RAM dealer and you can drive away with a new 1500 truck for anywhere between $30,000 and $70,000, depending on which trim and extras you choose. Now you can opt for a $333,700 variant, which looks like it rolled straight out of a Rolls-Royce factory!

An Italian firm specialized in vehicle modifications decided to transform the interior of a new RAM 1500 truck into a veritable palace. Aznom Automotive is practically giving away its creation for $263,000 USD, the equivalent of around $337,000 CAD.

The reworked model is named the Atalux, taken from All-Terrain Utility Luxury. From the outside it’s nothing particularly special, in fact we’d call it downright ugly. Inside, however, it’s a whole other story. And the changes made there explain the price tag. The capacity of the cabin has been doubled and completely redone to offer a totally unique experience. The interior of the Atalux resembles nothing so much as a Rolls or Maybach.

It starts with the use of high-end materials like Nubuck or Alcantara leather, accompanied by real wood trim.  The central console is made of bleached oak that has been steamed, which harbours crystal drinking glasses and whiskey bottles to fill them up with. Or, if you need a little pike-me-up on your night out, make yourself a cup of joe using the coffee machine.

In back you’ll find a fridge, not one but two 17-inch televisions, an xBox game console and… more whiskey glasses. Why deprive the poor souls sitting in back, after all?

As for the audio system, it can blow 1,200 watts of sound at occupants via 10 speaked and a subwoofer.

To provide a maximal aural experience, the cabin gets the finest sound-insulating materials available. We don’t know to what extent that will prevent the driver from hearing the roar of the 5.7L HEMI V8 placed under the hood. That engine is supported by an air suspension system on all four wheels and the disc brakes are 16.5 inches in front and 15 inches in back.

The edition shown by the company carries a $263,00 USD price tag, but if that’s not enough there are additional options to be piled on top, and some of the interior materials can be changed out. Very useful if you’re out of ideas about what to do with your stacks of money.

If interested by this decadent piece of machinery, you can visit the Italian company’s website and order your very own Atalux!
