At the last RETTmobile Exhibition for Rescue and Mobility, one of the biggest of its kind in Europe, Mercedes-Benz revealed a rather special SLS AMG concept car designed for first responders.
It boasts rotating lights, red graphics and the inscription “NOTARZT,” short for Notarzteinsatzfahrzeug (you’ll want to remember that one for your next game of Scrabble), or ambulance in German. Other than that, the SLS AMG is pretty much the same.
Unfortunately, getting patients to the hospital in this two-seater would take a miracle. No doubt more than one thrill-seeking emergency responder would be happy to drive a 563-hp beast at work every day.
