Right now, the production pace is rather slow; the shop builds one car every two weeks. If all goes as planned, however, the capacity will double in the upcoming months. "We'll keep our Montreal facility to serve the Eastern part of North America, while a similar shop in California will take care of the West," explained Paul Deutschmann.

But, as you might have guessed, there's a price to pay for an exclusive car like this one. The Callaway C16 Convertible will relieve buyers of nearly US$130,000. Meanwhile, the Coupe model retails for about US$115,000.

Interestingly, though, if you already own a Corvette, you can give it the Callaway treatment, which includes the supercharger and the lightweight hood, for a few tens of thousands of dollars less. On the flip side, you'll benefit from a few more tens of horsepower!
