The popular sedan has now been updated in every one of its iterations (sedan, hatchback, Si, Type R, etc.). That has given it added freshness even as it retains its core qualities: impressive fuel economy, a roomy interior for the segment, continued strong reputation for reliability and its format (for those who hate SUVs!). The Civic wins this category for the eighth time in the nine years KBB has done its annual Best Buy awards.
