Rivian
Many may forget this, but Rivian actually beat GMC to the punch in the rugged off-road EV game with the R1S SUV and R1T pickup.
Like the Hummer, the Rivians get a nice selection of party tricks like the R1T’s pass-through tunnel ahead of the rear wheels, or the use of all-vegan materials for the interior.
These are some very cool trucks, with big front storage areas, on-board air compressors and techy interiors that should make even a Tesla owner take notice.

Subaru
Subaru continues to cash in on its partnership with Toyota with the Solterra, a crossover that shares just about everything except a name with the Toyota bZ4X. It looks somewhat more dashing than the Toyota thanks to different headlamp lenses and wheel choices, the creases and fender covers it sports somehow doing well to recall the rough-and-tumble attitude sported by most of the Subaru lineup.
Power, meanwhile, is rated at 215 hp and 249 lb-ft of torque from dual EV motors. This is still a Subaru, after all, so it was never going to have a single-motor 2WD option and even gets a version of Subaru’s patented X-Mode off-road assist tech.
