Given what Audi and BMW are churning out in the EV space for 2024, it should come as no surprise that Mercedes-Benz is taking things to the nines as well, offering five EVs. Those would be the EQE SUV and sedan, EQS SUV and sedan and GLB compact crossover.
You could run that figure up to six if you include the ultra-luxurious Maybach variant of the EQS SUV, as the amount of pure luxury draped all through the interior puts the Maybach in a different tax bracket. That, and it’s actually called “Mercedes-Maybach” as opposed to “Mercedes-Benz”.

Polestar
2024 saw the addition of a single-motor RWD version of the Polestar 2 hatchback, a welcome addition to the lineup as it reduces the car’s weight and adds just a little more dynamism and range.
Beyond that, the 2 is a handsome-looking vehicle designed with an eye to that clean Scandinavian aesthetic we all know and love. Add an interior with a big 11.2-inch display as its centerpiece (and not much else; you control pretty much everything from the screen) with Google Built-In tech, and you have a new kid on the block that knows what’s up.
