Andros Trophy: The season will resume this weekend at Isola 2000

Following a short break for Christmas and the New Year, the drivers of the 2010-2011 Andros Trophy will be back in action this weekend in Isola 2000 in the French Alpes Maritimes.

Alain Prost (Dacia Duster) leads provisional point standings after the first three events of the season.

The four-time F1 world champion has clinched two victories, but is still under pressure from his main rival, Jean-Philippe Dayraut (BMW). Olivier Panis (Skoda Fabia) lies third in the provisional standings.

Former F1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve (Skoda Fabia) has fallen in love with ice racing this winter and has made solid progress in the standings with a strong performance in Alpe d’Huez.

The Canadian driver has reached the top 10 in the standings.

In the Andros Electric Car category, Nicolas Prost, son of Alain, lies in first place with a total of 155 points. Franck Lagorce is second with 151, ahead of Christophe Ferrier (145 points).
