Mitsubishi has issued a recall on the 2013 i-MiEV electric car due to a problem with the braking system. Only eight units are affected, however.
Once again, it appears that the brake vacuum pump may have been manufactured incorrectly and could fail, potentially increasing stopping distances and leading to a crash. Dealers will therefore replace the brake vacuum pump.
You may remember that Mitsubishi recalled 226 units for the same exact problem in the previous model year.
