At the Talladega Speedway, rookie Ty Dillon, driving a Chevrolet has claimed the Menards Pole Award for the second time this season and the third time in his five ARCA Racing Series starts.

Dillon will start Friday's 3 Amigos 250 from the first position, just inside Kyle Fowler (Chevrolet), who also qualified second at Daytona in February.

After a great qualification run good for third place, Canadian Maryeve Dufault from Sorel, Quebec saw her time disallowed. The No. 12 VR-12 Tony Marks Racing Dodge failed post-qualifying inspection and Maryeve will start the race 39th.

"I'm real excited," she said prior to her qualifying attempt. "The entire Tony Marks Racing team has given me a great VR-12/Dodge Motorsports Dodge Charger and all of our other sponsors deserve some time in the spotlight, so hopefully our strong start will continue. Even though this is my first trip to Talladega, I really enjoy the track."

Tim George Jr. (Chevrolet) finished a career-high third at Talladega last season, and will have an opportunity to improve upon that result by starting from the third position.
