Before joining Ford, Fisker was president and chief executive officer of Designworks/USA, a subsidiary of BMW headquartered in Newbury Park, California, which spawned the infamous Chris Bangle and Adrian van Hooydonk, both responsible for BMW's more radical approach to design.

all, the Danish-born designer was responsible for the Z07 concept car which was the basis for the gorgeous Z8 production roadster, launched in 1999.

During the past year Koehler held positions responsibility for management and allocation of resources, establishment of work plans with timing deliverables and metrics, finance and budget planning, as well as the articulation of a vision for the business of design within Ford Motor Company in North America.

Koehler was also responsible for communicating various plans to the program teams, the supply base and dealers.
