production runs. The first 12 will be built and split amongst the company's three 'Works' teams. These vehicles will most likely be finished in Aston's unique light green and gold livery, as pictured here. The second run of 20 will be road-legal versions, also race ready. These are aimed at privateers who wish to enter their own vehicles into races.

The DB9R will no doubt become a significant collector car, being the first of the revered marque's modern day racers. It will be worth even more if Prodrive manages to get the DB9R past the checkered flag first in its class at either Sebring or Le Mans.
