Adam Christodoulou accomplished a first run of tests on Thursday and Friday with his new Team Stargate World Formula Atlantic ride, part of his 2009 Star Mazda Championship prize.
The tests ran eventless, Christodoulou quickly gaining speed and rarely putting a wheel wrong at Buttonwillow Raceway.
Engineer Burke Harrison was pleased with the test, noting: "[Christodoulou] was very consistent and obviously had a lot of raw talent."
The nearly 400 miles completed by the driver were compiled under cool weather conditions.
“We never ran into and trouble and ended up just a fraction off Simona's time around here, so I think for my second day in the car, it's gone extremely well,” Christodoulou said.
Team Stargate and Christodoulou are expected to participate to the series-sanctioned test that was announced this week. The test will take place at Sebring International Raceway on January 22-24, 2010.
