German driver Andreas Wirth has been notified that one of his sponsors will not be able to honour their commitment to him for the remainder of the season so he will have to leave his Atlantic Championship team; Brooks Associates Racing.
Wirth rejoined Brooks Associates Racing back in April after driving for the team originally in 2005, when he led the championship until he was sidelined due to injury with two races remaining.
