The 2017 Audi R8 is the official vehicle of the 68th Emmy Awards, which will take place on Sunday, September 18th. In fact, this is Audi’s sixth consecutive year as the official automotive sponsor and vehicle provider for the Television Academy.
Tonight in Los Angeles, the R8 will make a special red carpet appearance at the annual Audi Celebrates the Emmys event.
This year’s campaign also features an exclusive collaboration with Airbnb, offering fans the opportunity to book a unique travel and driving experience complete with a stay at a famed luxury residence ― the Rondolino Residence in Death Valley, California ― and a weekend with the completely revised Audi R8 supercar. The latter boasts a 540-horsepower V10 engine or a 610-horsepower V10 plus engine, as well as the latest Audi technology including a Virtual Cockpit and Audi connect with 4G LTE connectivity.
The promotion kicks off with the debut of Audi’s television commercial “Desolation,” which you can watch below.
