For 2009, the Mercedes B200 lineup has been face-lifted and given additional standard features- though its price will remain unchanged from the 2008 model car. The C-Class has been updated with more standard features as well, and its price will also remain the same. The folks at Mercedes say the added features will create more value for their customers.

Shoppers can get into a 2009 B-Class from $29,900, with the B200 Turbo starting at $34,400. They'll be presented with an updated front-end design, new rear bumper with revised taillights, and a new wheel style as well. A CD Changer and Bluetooth cellular phone connectivity can be had as well.

The C-Class features additional features including a new dynamic handling package for 2009. The C-Class range starts from $35,800, and features a selection of engines as well as rear or all wheel drive for shoppers to choose from. Pricing for the C-Class range tops out at around $50,400 for a C350 model with 4Matic all wheel drive.

Marcus Breitschwerdt, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada, comments on the unchanged pricing. "The B-Class is a Canadian exclusive model, and strong sales demonstrate that Canadians have embraced this versatile vehicle. Since its release, the All-New C-Class has been an outstanding seller, and a standard sport package on the C300 and additional standard equipment for 2009 should ensure the momentum continues for this award-winning vehicle. So far, it has been another recordbreaking year for Mercedes-Benz. With aggressive pricing on our thrilling 2009 product portfolio, we will continue to offer the best value and satisfaction possible in every facet of the purchase process and ownership experience."
