This is a tricky one, as the luxury-loving student by definition faces a difficult choice. Can you have it both ways? Budget issues or not, the Luxury Lover places great importance on the level of swank his or her ride provides. In this the beauty of many full-size luxury sedans lies in their high depreciation. Where a new luxury sedan might go for around $100,000, for example, it’s actually easy to get your hands on one of them for under $10,000 just a few years later. In terms of durability and reliability, the Lexus LS probably fits the bill best. Of course, keep in mind that a V8 engine-equipped rear-wheel-drive sedan is not the best way to save at the pump. But the Luxury Lover is likely willing to make that sacrifice in order to ride in style.
