"Refreshing our driving skills makes good sense, no matter what your age or how long you've been driving," says Bryan Lowes, Executive Director, BC Safety Council. "For mature drivers, we believe this type of training can benefit them in a number of ways. It provides drivers with the knowledge and skills that can help them continue driving safely well into their retirement years. It also provides more mature drivers an opportunity to assess their skills and decide whether they should perhaps curtail their driving to certain hours, or maybe leave the driving to someone else."
Courses will be offered throughout the fall and winter at various locations around the province. The fee for enrolment is $75, or $55 for BCAA members. Discounts will also be offered to employees of corporate members of the BC Safety Council.
