It seems that 2011-2012 is set to be a big year for the luxury automaker Bentley. With an already brand new Continental GT on the market and a brand new Continental GTC drop-top set to debut in Frankfurt long with a new Flying Spur, Bentley is on a real roll here – and it's not about to stop.
While Bentley has been largely successful with their VW W12 engine, Bentley will drop a new mill in the lineup to come in January 2012, when they debut their new 4.0L V8 (housed in a Continental) at the Detroit Auto Show. Some might scoff at the smaller engine, but rumour has it will give the Continental a sportier feel.
No performance numbers have been released yet, but as it is a Bentley engineered project, we're fairly certain it'll be impressive.
