1-Series
The hot little bimmer looses 2 doors but gains new head and taillights along with revised front and rear bumpers. The interior is also mildly upgraded. Two new engines, borrowed from the 3-Series, will debut in 2007. The 125i will get the 225 hp 3.0L I-6 and the incredible 300 hp twin-turbocharged 3.0L I-6 will land under the bonnet of the 135ti. Only question is: When will it come to Canada?

3-Series

The 3-series convertible is offered for the first time with a retractable hardtop. The new 3-Series Cabriolet's new roof mechanism is made of lightweight steel and retracts in just 22 seconds at the push of a button. The lines of the 3-Series Cabriolet are still unmistakable from any angle despite the new roof. There are several distinguishing features specific to the cabriolet model, including a unique grille and headlamp treatment. Power comes from the same two engines as the coupe: a 3.0-liter, 230-horsepower inline six-cylinder engine with Valvetronic technology and the twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder with 300 horsepower aided by a direct injection system for added flexibility.
