Canada already produces approximately 341 terawatt-hours of energy fromhydroelectric power, which corresponds to well above half of the energyrequirements required by all the road traffic in Germany. A large-scaleproject is currently promoting the establishment of smaller hydroelectricpower stations. Other current projects are concerned with the generation ofenergy from wind and solar power.
