The Los Angeles Auto Show is fast approaching, and while it is being shunned by some manufacturers this year, other carmakers are using the opportunity to grab more of the available spotlight for themselves.
BMW, for one, will be rolling out four new vehicles at the event: one SUV, two cars and a concept. Here’s what they’re bringing to the LA party:
The big X7
Visitors at the auto show will get to see up close and in person the BMW X7, the new flagship of the German automaker’s SUV lineup. Officially presented this past October 16, it will offer consumers three rows of seats. It also intends to lay down the law in its segment in terms of sportiness, connectivity and safety. The main rivals the X7 has in its sights are the Mercedes-Benz GLS and the Audi Q7.

The big 8 Series
Fans of performance cars will want to check out the new 8 Series in its first auto show appearance as a production model. Like the X7, the 8 Series was introduced as a concept at last year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, only to return this year as a ready-to-go product. This represents the return of the model after a 20-year absence.

The little 3 Series
The littlest newbie is actually the one most likely to steal the show at the BMW stand this year. The 3 Series is finally getting a revamp after remaining virtually unchanged for the better part of a decade. As per BMW tradition, we can expect quantity of variants of this classic model, but the first to wow admirers in person will be the M340i.

The future Vision iNEXT
Those as interested in the future as the present of the automobile will linger at the LA show in front of the Vision iNEXT, a design study that reveals BMW’s future… vision. The big focus with this model is on connectivity, electric mobility and autonomous driving.
