Bridgestone's Dueler tires are designed to tackle some of the roughest terrain owners might throw at their tires, and they've have been successful for their combination of price, flexibility and dependability.

Bridgestone has just announced a new addition to the Dueler lineup, called the A/T695. Using patented UNI-T technology, the A/T 695 tackles tough turf while maintaining a ride quality which doesn't make them tough on the driver's seat. The new tires are intended for pickups and SUV's where great on-road handling is needed in conjunction with dependable wet, mud and snow traction.

A two-in-one tread block design contributes to stability and handling, while silica is used in the tread compound to enhance wet traction. Silica, similarly, has recently proven a popular material for use in snow tires, for the same reason. Interlocking treads and aggressive off-shoulder tread blocks promote water evacuation while providing extra bite in the mud. The tire is also noise optimized to create a quiet ride without sacrificing tread wear.

"0ur new Dueler tire incorporates technologies and compounds that work together to provide all the grip you'll ever need," said Phil Pacsi, Vice President of Consumer Tire Marketing at Bridgestone Firestone North America. "Our engineers have made the Dueler A/T 695 ride especially smooth, quiet and comfortable so consumers have what they want and need in this new tire."
