Oliver Turvey started his British Formula 3 campaign with a victory in the opening round of the 2008 season at Oulton Park, March 23.
Turvey made the best start in slippery conditions - in typical British weather at this time of year - and was able to control the race. He held off his Carlin Motorsport teammates Jaime Alguersuari and Brendon Hartley for most of race to cross the finish in first place
On Sunday, Jaime Alguersuari converted the second of his pole position into a first F3 victory. The Carlin Motorsport driver retired from the first round after being hit by teammate Brendon Hartley. But Alguersuari bounced back to dominate the proceedings in the afternoon.
