Production of the Chevrolet Equinox has resumed in Ontario, after months of shutdowns and slowed operations caused by the microchip shortage. The CAMI plant will continue making the SUV until the spring of 2022, after which the plant will be refitted to accommodate production of another model in the fall of 2022.
