On certain vehicles equipped with a 1MZ-FE or 3MZ-FE V6 engine, the crankshaft pulley may fail. The outer ring may become misaligned, or it may not properly rotate, causing noise and/or illumination of the discharge warning light.

In addition, the power steering belt may become detached from the crankshaft pulley, which could result in a sudden increase in steering effort. A loss of steering power assist could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury.

Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the crankshaft pulley

On certain vehicles, the threshold for the power window auto-reverse function may be higher than the design specification. This could result in personal injury if a body part becomes trapped by the closing window.

Dealers will replace both window switches.

2012 Dodge Journey and Fiat 500

Certain vehicles may have had their brake system inadvertently filled with contaminated brake fluid during vehicle assembly. This could damage certain brake components, which could increase stopping distance, and result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury.

Dealers will replace all brake components that come in contact with hydraulic brake fluid.

2012 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana
37 units

On certain vehicles, the second stage of the front passenger dual-stage airbag may not deploy as commanded during a severe frontal impact. Failure of the airbag to fully deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of personal injury to the seat occupant.

Dealers will replace the front passenger airbag.

2011 Lotus Elise

Certain vehicles may have been inadvertently equipped with incorrect turn signal modules during vehicle assembly. This could cause the LED turn signal lamps to flash at an erratic frequency when the hazard warning switch is depressed.

In addition, in the event that either a front or rear turn signal lamp fails to illuminate or does not flash at the correct frequency when operated, the remaining functioning signal lamps on that vehicle's side, as well as the instrument turn telltale, will not flash at an increased rate as intended.

As a result, the driver will not be visually alerted to the fact that a turn signal lamp is not operating correctly. As such, the driver's intentions to turn may not be conveyed clearly to other road users, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury.

Dealers will replace the turn signal modules.
