That gave Luc Lesage and his Scion tC the lead of the class followed by Tom Kwok’s Honda Civic Si and Damon Sharpe, also on Honda Civic Si.
“I didn’t even know I was in first position”, declared Lesage. “I was told I was first by my crew only before the last lap, my heart started to pound very quickly.”
The Trois-Rivières native will be hoping for an equally good result at home as the series heads to the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivières on the weekend of August 5-7.
