TrueCar.com has published the results of its second annual population study analyzing the vehicle buying habits of men and women. The data gathered from eight million retail purchases in 2010 shows that women care about price and fuel efficiency while men are more concerned with size and performance.
MINI is the most popular brand with the fairer sex, 47.9% of its buyers being women, followed closely by Kia (46.8%) and Honda (46%). Saturn was ahead of the pack in 2009, with Kia and MINI coming in second and third. It seems like the disbanding of the GM brand benefited Kia and MINI.
