2006 Fords Will Get All-New 3.5-L V6

A new V6, to be used in Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles, will be built in Ford Motor's Lima, Ohio facility. The plant will receive a $335 million upgrade to incorporate the engine program. As sophisticated as anything from Europe or Asia, the 3.5-L Duratec V6 will boast an aluminum block, dual-overhead cams and 24-valves.
