Initially launched at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show last November, the 100% electric 2014 Chevrolet Spark will make its European debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show.
Equipped with a 20 kWh lithium-ion battery, the Spark EV regains up to 80% of its capacity in approximately 20 minutes using DC fast charging. Full AC charging requires about 6-8 hours.
Meanwhile, the GM-designed permanent magnet electric motor delivers more than 130 hp (100 kW) and allows 0-100km/h acceleration in under 8.5 seconds.
The 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV will be sold in select European markets starting next year.
