New Chevy Camaro 1LE to make debut at Chicago Auto Show

Good news, Camaro fans: The 1LE package is back! What’s more, it will be available for the first time in 1LT and 2LT trim. 

In fact, per customer request, two different 1LE packages will be offered by Chevy including one for the V6 engine and another for the V8 engine. These models will visually stand out with a full satin black hood, among other things.

The 2017 Chevy Camaro LT 1LE features a 3.5L V6 that produces 335 horsepower, along with Brembo brakes, a suede-wrapped steering wheel, dual tailpipes, 20” forged aluminum wheels, a cooling kit for the track, and available Recaro sport seats.

Meanwhile, the 2017 Chevy Camaro SS 1LE benefits from a 455-horsepower V8 and most of the upgrades specified above, except that Recaros come standard, as well as Magnetic Ride Control. Buyers can also add a data and video recorder.

Pricing and on-sale dates for the 1LE packages will be announced later this year.
