WINDSOR, ON — The all-new 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 (half-ton) offers a unique package of bold styling, best-in-class roominess, superb ride and handling, performance, safety and capability, a combination of attributes that no other full-size pickup can match.

Now the all-new Dodge Ram 1500 sets itself further apart from the pack with manufacturers suggested retail prices (MSRP) as much as $1,000 below 2001 levels. Moreover, all 2002 Dodge Ram models now include over $1,350 worth of standard items that were previously optional, including air conditioning and rear disc brakes.

"The all-new 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 charges onto the Canadian truck scene with a bold new look and a host of attributes that clearly set it apart from the rest of the market", John H. MacDonald, Dodge Brand Manager, DaimlerChrysler Canada, said. "With the largest cab in its class and new convenience features, the 2002 Dodge Ram is again at the head of its class", Mr. MacDonald said.

MSRP for the regular cab, short-box 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 starts at $23,255, $55 higher than the comparable 2001 model. At $27,395, the high volume four wheel drive version is priced $170 lower than the 2001 model. The long-box regular cab Ram 4X4 starts at $28,010, $200 less than last year.

The short-box 2002 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 1500 carries an MSRP of $26,960, or $860 less than in 2001. The long-box Ram Quad Cab is priced $880 lower. The 2002 Dodge Ram Quad Cab long-box 4X4 pickup has an MSRP of $30,970, $1,030 lower than in 2001, while the short-box Quad Cab 4X4 is $1,000 less.
