ASO Wednesday unveiled the main details and the route of the 2013 Dakar rally, which will start from Lima, Peru to finish in Santiago, Chile.
Argentina, where the start was given for the four last years, is not forgotten, as the event will spend several days in this country, including the rest day at Tucuman.
The next edition of the Dakar will be held from January 5th to 20th, and will cover a total distance of more than 8000 km (4970 miles).
